Die Verbindungsstange Flaps Beetle Cabrio ist das passende Ersatzteil für das Klappelement (Flaps) der Verdeckklappe beim VW New Beetle Cabrio (1Y).
Sie ersetzt die serienmäßige Verbindungsstange (Teilenummer 1Y0 871 301) und sorgt wieder für eine präzise, gleichmäßige Bewegung der Flaps beim Öffnen und Schließen des Verdecks.

Die durchgestrichene Verbindungsstange rechts im Bild dient als Originalteil lediglich zum Vergleich und ist nicht im Angebot enthalten.

Lieferumfang

Montagehinweis – richtige Einbaulage

• Vor der Montage wird das Verdeck geöffnet bis kurz vor „komplett offen“. Der Flap auf der intakten Seite muss noch geöffnet nach oben zeigen. Der Kugelkopf des Stellmotor muss ebenfalls nach oben zeigen.

• Die Kugelpfanne an der längeren Seite wird unten am Stellmotor der Gestängeklappe  eingeclipst.

• Über die Kugelpfanne an der kürzeren Seite wird zuerst die Drahtschlaufe der Notentriegelung gelegt. Anschließend wird die Kugelpfanne an der Metallkugel des Schwenkelement oben eingeclipst.

Der Einbau ist mit handwerklichem Geschick problemlos selbst durchführbar, Spezialwerkzeuge sind nicht erforderlich.

Installation Note – Correct Mounting Position

• Before installation, open the convertible top to just before „fully open“. The flap on the intact side must still point upward. The ball head of the actuator must also point upward.
• Clip the ball socket on the longer side onto the bottom of the flap linkage actuator.
• Place the emergency release wire loop over the ball socket on the shorter side first, then clip this ball socket onto the metal ball of the pivot element at the top.

Installation can be done without special tools with basic mechanical skills.
